Long time reader first time poster. I've been thru all the hive archives.

I'd like to know if there is more information on the Electro reduction, and if anyone has heard if it works as stated in UF's Advanced Techniques. My reading has shown conflicting accounts. It seems that it would be the perfect nano product manufacture.

I tried to contact the UF but no reply. I tried to find Wizard's site but to no avail.

I read that GAA doesn't work well, but Acetic Anhydride would be the proper reagent.

One of my flock is hoping to perform this for the church's science fair. LOL

Wizard X's X file 2 also looks good.

Chlorinate the E using HCl and Zinc Chloride, and then reduce the chloroE electrolytically using a simple cell. No need for palladium or platnium !
