Xylene and Xylene AR

| Swim has a friend in the UK..he wants to know if he can use Xylene AR? in place of the regular Xylene.. |

AR stands for Analytical Reagent. You can use this, but I expect it to be more expensive than regular xylene (technical grade).

| thanks..for some reason he tells swim that he can get the AR easier than the regular Xylene..weird..!?!?!? |

Than he must work in a laboratory or something like that . There they use high purity stuff and hardly any technical grade. |
