Would it be possible to just make amphetamine out of loose chemicals.
Like ataching a phenyl group to a ethylamine molecule etc.

My suggestion was:

bromobenzene throw that into a grignard and it will form benzene with a positive carbon atom, And ofcourse Mg-Br.
Then when ethylamine is added it will bind with the positively charged carbon and you will you phenylethylamine.
Then methylate it with iodomethane and one will have methylphenetylamine (amphetamine).
Would it be possible to do it like this or something similair?
