The need of information on drug overdose emergencies.....

I guess it's out of responsibility to include some assistance for emergencies that may arise in the course of experimenting in chemistry . From accidental splash of acids or base on the skin , and God forbid the eyes. Also some basic information in case one gets a whif of too much thionyl chloride or Cl fumes....and the hated sulfate fumes.
Although primary care is not the intention, but at least some basic common do's and don't to assist our growing membership. At the Hive we had an emergency and there was no established protocol as to what advice to give , but at least as was done at the Height and Ashbury clinic, addressing some of the most common drug and chemical related medical emergencies would be beneficial.
No we won't make diagnosis nor give prognosis to situations , but we should at least be responsible in the afore said situations in some type of sticky posting here on this forum.............java

yes I agree a what todo in case of emergency topic could be very useful.. I have some medical books around my house.. prolly could pick up something from b&n as well on ems stuff.. alot of newbees may get them selve into a situation that calling 911 wouldnt help.. swim has a few experiences that he feels he can share with the rest that might prove helpful. ( boy do I wish I would of read about some of these experiences before hand..)
