I didn't post that much on the-hive back when it was still the hive, but now I'm back and already progressed in chemistry A LOT, I'm now doing first year organic chemistry at university. Very Happy

This is my first post here and I'd like to say this place looks rather nice. I was a member of The Hive, however you might not remember me as I was never much of a poster. I only got to around 250 posts over 3 years and was posting under the current username. Let's hope more bees find this wonderful place.

Great to be here, and hope I can contribute to the board in any way possible. I feel my biggest contributions would be realized in a forum equivalent to the "general forum" that the hive offered. After quickly reviewing the forums at synthetika I do not see a specific forum that deals solely with "pharmacology". I am not for the proliferation of vast forums however I think pharmacology and general pharmacowhatever is an important topic that would be an asset to this site. I can offer much information (i.e. recent journal articles pdf. format etc.) in the field of pharmacology and and other closely [and not so closely] related fields on a virtually unlimited basis.

I am reluctant to post everything I ever posted at the hive here, in fear of the hive coming back on line. I have never been very fond of redundancy. That being said in our state of unknowingness it may be the only way to reconvene our knowledge base to the capacity that was once available at the hive.

There are many bees without a home that have much knowledge / experience in the fields of pharmacology, (synthetic) organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, medicine, psychology, clandestine operations, law, biotechnology (fermentation/purification), biology, pharmaceutical science, business, information technology, and any other art, science, or discipline I did not mention. These bees will hopefully find a home at synthetika, and "pick up where we left off".

Only time will tell,

I have great hopes for this site,

We will endevour to do this,
Create a forum, for Pharmacology, as it is slightly different, to our health Issues forum,.

If you feel that this is someting longterm, then yes, we have no problems,
It would need a moderator, someone to look after the content, but besides that, Yes,

p.m admin(me or the Watcher)
Also it would be nice if everyone hear had their say too,
As this is a playground for us, run by us,

I will keep the forum running with help of the Mods,
and between us all, we decide our direction.

Nice to see so many bees coming together and also new faces.
When I first took a look at this place I had my doubts, but now

Hi guys and gals. Just checking in. I'm relatively new to any kind of chemistry discussion groups and chemistry as a whole. My original interest stemmed from "clandemistry" (not too hard to figure that one out Smile ) but I've developed a genuine love of the art and an insatiable thirst for knowledge of all aspects of it. I just d/l'd one of the chem books linked to by another post here (organic_chem_lab_survival_manual_zubrick_2nded.rar) and can't keep my eyes out of it. I may post some somewhat newbish questions, hopefully in the appropriate forums, but I'll learn. We weren't born scientists/chemists. And I have an excellent memory; it just doesn't last very long...hmmmm - think i just found my new tag line Smile Good luck all!

Just found the site..... just joined up. Nice work guys!

Very happy that there are some enthusiasts around putting together something like this.

I'll definitely be popping in often to check things out, and hopefully add something worthy of discussion too.

Cheers, Spurious.

Hello.

Very nice forum; too bad I had never been a member of the Hive before to compare.

I am a newbee as well; I hope however to share my knowledge in pharmacology whenever I can, having studied it for quite a long time.

Thanks go to java and synthetika for fixing my reg. problems. Smile

glad i am to see the reconvergence of the honest scientific intellect behind the psychoactive medicenes liberation movement.

i too buzzed with the bees, in fact i got my current descriptor while praying my way out of a nice little maelstrom that that membership manifested for me once upon a time. but now and again some things have just got to be done, the dream will not die while the head is still attached to the body, so let's get on with the chemistry...
