Can anyone tell me how big the complete Rhodium archive was?
I have a copy here i made short before it closed down. its 301Mb in size. there is a zipped archive in it that has the size of19 Mb or so. In my saved version is a lot of data... djvu... worlocks etc etc.
is that (301Mb) the complete Archive or is out there anywhere a bigger version? and if yes... where to find?

what about making a torrent of the archive?
I can do that whith my 301Mb Archive, and seed it. but it misses some pdfs and djvus...
think the one with the biggest archive should load it up once, and if theres something to complete (old and new knowledge) this is added and kept for downloading! |

Possibly people will have it, but just to mention if not.
I have downloaded the photo-essay on MDP2P to MDMA.
It is not available via rhodium.moppy.net
That's why I mentioned. |

| Remember that sharing via a torrent or P2P will violate your anonymity. You can use a socks compatible ftp client to upload the data via TOR to an ftp server. This will maintain your anonymity. |

OK. To spread the archive P2P (peer 2 peer not phenylacetone ) maybe means also to "burn" a lot of OTC sources.
And anonymity is such a thing too.... right.
Uploading to an ftp will be far better. So everyone who has to get the information gets it. and thousands of kiddiebees will not have to try such bad ,bad things. |

Of the articles I sent in, Rhodium only linked to a fraction of them (and most of the stuff I sent in had been OCRed, so it was only a fraction of what the image size would have been). I guess the same goes for other articles people sent in (not everything was linked to). But most other people would have sent in images only - not OCRed text. I imagine that Rhodium kept all these articles but not as primary references. That's probably why there were 2 serparate numbers for the PDF files. This could explain why 64bandil says that the complete PDF/DjVu was 2 Gb.
I personally have:
chemistry (39,931,562 bytes) includes 16 sub-folders.
djvu (18,403,343 bytes)
pdf (178,195,953 bytes)
other (2,225,721 bytes)
and that is still only a fraction of what was in the archive and was linked to because my Rhodium archives were definitely not up-to-date.
If so of the numbers are larger than they should be it's probably because I have duplicate files, etc.; not because I've got something that other achive collectors are missing. |
