Slightly Altered KOH Technique with Excellent Results

Recently, in the Pixie dust extraction world a couple of dreamers had great results with a slight alteration in the KOH boil technique laid out by swiUF. The amounts of KOH were quadrupled and alky doubled, quite a bit more reactants for the hydrolysis, but the final reaction results were no colors during basing and 65% yields of final product. A refreshing breeze in the extraction world of pse which has been under attack by the ever persistent "pill fuckers". This has all been covered under the Positive Dreaming forum in the thread https://www.wetdreams.ws/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2489&whichpage=1 but switc thought she would drop an entry here in the extraction forum about the process. The alteration to the procedure is as follows:

Original procedure -
3.5g KOH per 1 gram of available PSE
1ml of 91% Isopropyl Alcholol per 30mg PSE pill

Grind pills, extract with alcohol bring to boiling, add KOH, boil 20-60 minutes.
Separate layers, evaporate alcohol. Add 20ml d-h2o to crystals, add to separatory funnel, add 75ml toluene, wash up all crystals add to separatory funnel, wash with d-h2o 2x. Allow toluene layer to drain entrained water or filter through dried MgSO4 and gas with HCl gas.

Alteration -
14g KOH per 1 gram of available PSE
2ml 91% Isopropyl Alcohol per 30mg pill

Grind pills extract with alky and bring to boil. KOH is to be added at intervals, for example:
10g of PSE add 70g of KOH at boiling, boil 30 minutes, add an additional 35g KOH boil 20 minutes, add an additional 35g KOH boil another 20 minutes. The rest of the procedure follows the original writeup by swiUncFester.
