Calciumsalts of morphine and HCl

Does anyone have an idea what will happen, if I add to morphine, which is extracted into Ca(OH)2, an amount of HCL that will make the whole solution about 1N?

1. Will it convert the calciumsalts of morphine into morphinhydrochloride or

2. Will I have to break them up with ammonia first?
