This is a commercial site-a business- and you have used the hard work of others to promote it.
The hive.ws and rhodium.ws were provided FREE (and without advertisements) as an informational and educational tool to anyone with web access by Rhodium & Co and in turn its membership contributed to the forum in kind on matters they were experienced with.
You have taken that information and effectively used it, or part of it, as your own to do with what you please.

I have no idea what you have or haven't done regarding the opiophile site but thats a fairly serious allegation they have made.

What is your policy on spamming?

You will notice that neither of those sites are open anymore and they are looking for donations to try to reopen, so as we see it making the site self sufficient is just common sense

I noticed that i feel sad for there whole forum if it is like that so much hostility when without much effort it can be so friendly like it is here

Whoops,

I had completly forgot about this, and decided to get back into work, and not give it the light of day, definately the best move someone could make, in this situation.

Anyway turns out, that when I posted this character a legal notice of intent for outright slander, he backed down, and now posts that he knows nothing about it anymore,
Now we have to live with him stealing our ideas, and forum activities, in the last week he has plagurised our front page, re-designed his logo, and is now using the same Modifications we do, oh well, I am not offended by that, flattered, a better word.
I thought it was funny this "bi11i" guy saying it wasn't him, that did this, but then when I went to his website, and found our name all over his page, in the announcements, that someething was a bit odd here,
Things just didn't add up, since our legal push, he has removed all traces of us from his site, and is now acting within the law,

Well that's good, all has worked out, and thanks for all those that helped the cause,

Malesta: I can't help but think maybee you have got us all wrong, and I would like the oppourtunity to shed some light on this easily mistakable matter.

We began a a non-profit organisation, and still are, it is not an uncommon misconception on how we work, but our system generates money for the site, and not for the admins. No profit is shared amongst any of the Admins, but it is shared amongst the members, and the facilities,

All of our members are happy with this, not only because they recieve better services, and information, but the adds, are targeted towards the services that our members need, so they are more like suppliers, because of their nature.

All money is posted to the moderators forum, upon where it is used for costs pertaining to our site.

I am very happy to tell you that our model, is really working, and any member can tell you about the improvements, and work being done.
You can even have your own site linked to us,
If you want an income stream and are prepared to work, then we can help you with that, if you have an area of chemistry that you want to prevail in,
This is a group of people that share the same belief, and are willing to protect, and maintain, not just a forum, but a community of like minded people,

The sole reason for this malestra, is that one day, we will be able to do experiments, and actually begin testing specific chemical synthesis.

These facts have been known to all members since day one
I began this site for a very special reason, no monetary goals, or even ego stroking reasons, I began this site, for all of us,

Since the age of 12 of I have deeply loved chemistry, and I don't think it's going to end anytime soon,
We have begun something here, so incredible, the unity, and collaboration, the friendly calm atmosphere, which all members have run with, and made their home,

It is unfortunate but understandable why you have these feelings malestra, but this is the truth, and it's happening right before your very eyes,

Also, I must bring attention to your comment about other large sites commercial interests, The Hive, for your information did sell it's own book to generate money, and look at erowid, one of the largest chemical repositorys, do you think them having 800 paying members, makes them bad as well, in light if this, our users pay nothing for thier information,, and receive better services and much more freedom of expression,, so you can see why our model is so gently successfull, but it is not money that we care about, as now you can see, it is the chemistry, that we seek, together as a community,
