im registered independent. i dont believe i stated otherwise, and if i did i meant to say that i voted republican not registered it. sometimes i state things poorly since i cant type as fast as im thinking. the only reason i voted bush is because of the lack of an alternative. by not having any coherent strategy or ideas dems allow the republicans to win by default. the only thing i learned during the kerry campaign is that he served in vietnam and he didnt like bush. somewhere in the mix everybody forgot to discuss *issues*. the republicans didnt have all the right answers, but the fact that they had any answers period let them win. the country was ready for a change. john kerry just managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. this last election will be studied in american political science classes for centuries to come as the archetypical example of how to lose an election you should have won in a landslide. i was forced to choose between an idiot and a dickhead. the democrats are the republicans best friends.

i agree with you. i say leave it to states rights though because different people in different places with different ideas will want to do different things. organized religions are ultimately political lobbies and brainwashing institutions. i respect peoples religious ideas, but you wont find me praying to a stupid fucking statue anytime soon. but thats the beauty of having a republic. if texas wants to outlaw homos playing grabass and rubbing each others balls then so be it. if california wants to legalize transexual polygamy and animal sex then thats fine by me as well. by making it a states rights issue everybody can be happy. if people dont like how shit is going down where they live then move. i think this is one of the biggest non-issues ever in american politics. nobody gives a shit about it. extremist activists on both sides just keep bringing it up so they can grease up their respective "slippery slopes". whoever gets their way will come up with more stupid shit to fight about to further their agenda. the only reason i brought it up was to point out to loki that i dont agree with everything the govt does since loki seemed to imply that i was bush's spokesperson.

but anyway im leaving in 2 days so i guess you get the last word on this one. stay safe, stay out of jail, and dont let synthetikal go down. ive learned some good shit about chemistry from you guys. thanks for embracing free speech. if i was posting on the hive i would have surely been silenced by now. hopefully ill be back to piss everybody off in 12-15 months, give or take. peace out.

good luck, and keep your nose clean. if you have a clean nose, nobody will ask you where you washed it.

btw, i agree that kerry was a dick, and that the dems really blew it.
we live in a one-party system now, and have, for some time.

pro-growth, thru wars and ecological madness...no american politician can stand oppossed to the hell-bound train. even the liberals want a stronger defense and economic growth.
