Hullo... Here you have some pictures of the adaptor that I have made .. to enable a air-compressor to be used as a super-powerfull vacuum pump.

So far .. I am delighted with the vacuums It pulls. Awesome .. .It boils water at nearly room temperature ! .



The adaptor is just a flat metal plate .with 2 holes for the bolts and one hole for the outlet (just a crudely welded tube).
I just created some gasket (with automotive gasket paper) and applied a jointing compound (also automotive "fluid gasket") .



From what I have seen , most compressors have exactly the same air-pump body , so .. It should be quite easy to make . Just shop around.
