Hi guys SWIM LORDWILLIAM not new here just a new name. look SWIM Identified sassafrass albidium here where SWIM liveS. and wants to first extract the safrole out of it, but doesn't know where to start my first guess id an ethyl alky or methanol pull, secondly boiling (made some super tea last nite by the way

Actually pouring the tea into your coffee grounds and brewing through it is tasty as I'm having a cup right now.
However this is wasteful for our purposes. well first lets get the safrole pull explained then on to conversion to something good. or would oleoresin of black pepper be a more feasible route (fpr piperinol not tea of course!) then lets consider a RP/HI reduction or Birching the safrole what would result?
