I believe there is also a rumour going around that not only did he get in trouble for that, flee to Canada, but also that Chris The Great got in trouble for harboring him, or something like that. I surely haven't seen Chris log on to anything in a long time - though, I haven't checked recently. Either way, that all happened a long time ago and isn't really worth conversation/gossiping about.

Anyways, we should ask someone who may know what is going on - Heisignberg or Enkidu may know more about the changed front page of RS.

Synthesizing high explosives and using them are two pretty much different disciplines!
If he knows how to make few grams of novel HE,it doesn't mean he is good enough to make
few kilos of it,make an IED and plant it successfully without getting busted!
last part being the most difficult one...

IED's are art on its own!

Considering anti-terrorist hysteria in USA it is better to shot or chop-up someone than to make IED's!
Actually it is stupid to chop-up someone since you can get insanely good guns for funny prices in Da' States!

AS for NBK, me and others have done a LOT of research into his past.

Yep, he was a dangerous fucking sociopath with a history of nasty shit.

But, who gives a damn - the new Rogue Science (still needing work - directory structure backend and the front web interface arent matched up yet) is gonna be kick ass :D

As for the IED comment, it is a LOT harder to make a few kilos than a few grams. But, a carefully used and placed few-gram charge would have done the job just as well...

Either way, dude just blew other dudes head off, clopped 'im up and dumped him. Epic fail.
