New Forums and sub-forums.
« on: March 21, 2009, 10:33:08 PM »
I would like to add more sections to this forum. I believe it will bring more traffic, and encourage more posts, which would really help the site grow.  I am having a bit of a hard time finding new ones to add while still keeping this site a mostly drug, chemistry, and natural sources site.  Before I made this post I added a Beginner & Inorganic chemistry section, and a Garden Problem section.

Do you guys have any other suggestions on what I could add to improve the forum?

Well, uh. Upon a few seconds of viewing the different sections. The majority dealing with drugs, I say we need an experiences section.

Oh! And um, a section in which you could describe the symptoms, one would need to bitch about, to receive a desired piece of paper that some bastard in a white coat signed, in order to obtain a substance of their choice.

I mean come on man! ;) The fuckers are closing in on us, we gotta enjoy the freedom we have, while we have it.

"Freedom is something that dies unless it's used"-?

There is an experience section - called bioassay. The acquisition section is perfect for topics like how to get prescriptions. :D

Thanks for bringing that up though, I perhaps did not properly clarify all of the sections and what they are intended for.

Creeping christ, I didn't see those. All though what I had in mind is something like erowid's experiences section but with an ability to comment and reply to comments. If we tried to replicate that with a regular forum it would be really messy and un-organized. The only problem with erowid's is you can't post comments. That would make this sites version perfect. Erowid has like subsections too, "bad experiences", "First times" etc. Ya know?

That is a very good idea to add sections like good, bad, first time, etc in the bioassay section. I'll do this eventually, when we get more members. I've always noticed the experience/bioassay sections are never posted in as often as the others so i don't want to belittle the few posts we have in it right now by adding more sections - I will eventually though so good idea.
