Possible virus on orgsyn?
« on: July 31, 2010, 07:49:00 AM »
Ok so I just tried looking on orgsyn for preperations for isocyanates, and my virus scanner went sick in the head, on a single occasion changing pages it detected 4 viruses, usually it detects 'html:feebs.gen'

I'm using Avira antivirus.

HTML/Feebs.Gen

Description:
Feebs is malware which wraps an executable in html and script code. The executable is encrypted in this script and is dropped on execution. The malware author uses this technique to obfuscate the presence of the executable file and deliver it to the victim without being blocked by an anti-virus scanner.

Thats what Avira says about it.

Looks like its trying to sneak some sort of malware past the gate.

Somewhere in this forum library is one single pdf that contains whole orgsyn, with links, so it might be better to use.

Its "Organic Synthesis Archive.pdf" 135mb  9449 pages...
