For anyone interested in an intriguing podcast regarding many different drugs and there effects I recommend the UC Berkeley Psych 119 lecture series.

It delves into the chemistry, psycho-social aspects, and health aspects along with other aspects of drugs such as tobacco, alchohol, marijuana, cocaine, heroin, and a slew of others.

Presented by David Presti, a senior lecturer of neurobiology in the molecular and cell biology department.

Psych 119: Drugs and the Brain
A survey course exploring the basic principles of psychopharmacology. The major focus of the course is on the relationship between behavior and the physiological actions of drugs. Emphasis will be placed on effects of pharmacological agents on complex mental processes such as attention, motivation, learning, and memory.

Wow cool, I've looked around Berkeley's podcast, but I never came across this Drugs and Behavior section. I'll have to make it a goal to listen to more of it sometime.

berkely's chem lessons are way cool too jon uses you tube for this never knew thay had a site for this.

They offer this class or similar in many psych curriculum's, really really interesting.  They say not to speak about your drug usage to classmates as police/special agents often sit in on these classes for training hours.  I remember the first day of this class the instructor threw out some statistic like 1 in 6 of you are on drugs right now, my buddy was still tripping on dose from the night before...

at least the prof is'nt a cop whore.
i thought i could bribe proffesors and, boy i was wrong.
the logic being that judges are for sale and, you could buy congress pay them a million in contributions and get all the money in the treasury.
but the proffesor was insulted and, i was insulted too because; surely everyone is for sale.
