Just a suggestion but I think it might be a good idea to lock the forum to the public.

What do I mean by this? I think unless you sign up for an account the threads shouldn't be viewable.  This idea is used by wetdreams.ws for those not familiar. It's a very secure way of sharing info without DEA or other koopas dropping in.

It's not really all too important. Maybe I just really like the idea of the whole "invite-only" private forum thing.

...just a thought.

Oh for sure! Once I get enough members, this is crawling underground.

Maybe it would be better to do that now as some of them might not like to sign up in a totally visible forum. I doubt that would be very constructive though.

either way, I doubt it will stop the DEA very much at all since they could just sign up. They could easily be posting in wetdreams right now.
Perhaps one day if the community is large enough and wants it I'll get my own private server and have ALL IP addresses blocked except for the people I know and invite. :D I've always wanted something like that for some reason.

Nice. Sounds good.

I think the reason The Hive got as big as it did was because it was a forum where anything goes and there were many king bees flying around.

I was thinking about trying to track down some of the former higher-up bees just for shits and giggles. I think most of them have retired though.

I know Spiceboy, now known as Spice, is an iconic figure over at PN.

I think Osmium and Sunlight both migrated to SM...I could be wrong though.

I think the tricky part with good forums is getting productive threads from people that actually experiment.  Too often I see speculation, and not enough experimentation.

I absolutely agree with you there, and I doubt I could have put it better. This is one of the reasons I am pretty excited to have you as a member, it seems like you do some pretty useful things that will create a lot of discussion.
I am also hoping to archive all of the synthesis, methods,  and so on. I hope that will give an incentive to some people to post what they are doing. I know rhodium's archive pretty much has everything you'd need for almost any drug,  but I feel a lot is also missing. I know many people who are fairly good chemists who have attempted a lot of the synthesis on there and have had  problems. I'm sure the synthesis works, but I may not be worded the best - or the chemist just isn't as good as I think they are.  There is often Rhodium notes about mistakes so the synthesis might not actually work all that well all of the time.

Eventually when I archive the material produced here I am going to add a 5 star rating system with the ability for comments. This way if someone notices that a certain step lowers yield or if it works better with an excess they can post it. I'll moderate it and delete questions. The questions would obviously go to the forum and only useful content in the comments would remain.

When I started this site a while ago, I thought it was going to be more successful, but since I'm always being busy I haven't been able to figure out how to do all this coding, and advertising, and so on. It is getting there though! :D
