Racemic Pac (DL-PAC) to Ephedrine? possible resolution methods

If you have Racemic Pac (DL-PAC)is it still possible to Catalytic reduce into ephedrine? Would this yield DL-ephedrine?

Does any one have any detailed info regarding the resolution of DL pac and/or DL-ephedrine.
