comprehensive organic functional group transformations vol II
« on: April 07, 2011, 07:13:46 PM »
comprehensive is an understatement.
if you have time and inclination it's every bit of 2000 pages and some, it's a handy reference if you ever scratched your head wondering how to go from point A to point B
this is your book

Just a point of warning, potentially-ebook3000 . com has a plainly visible button marked 'download' alongside one marked 'view' this does NOT download the file, but launches a new window, with what appears to be a video player of some sort, which encourages the user to download a codec.

Not saying it IS, but it could potentially be malware, that is a fairly typical social engineering trick the spyware/adware spamming sisterfuckers use, and its obviously placed just below the actual download links, which are in text, and looks to me to be intended to encourage download of whatever the thing is, it could be a genuine codec, but then again, could just as well be something nasty.

Maybe I am paranoid, but then again I have good reason to pull the ol' tinfoil hat out, there are too many shady little ratbags out there spreading malware, and damn things are sometimes REALLY hard to remove, I have had to do a full re-clone of the OS more than the once after drive-by download techniques, and once off an accidentally launched trojan that my malware and rootkit scanners didn't pick up.

I think that is abuse, charging that much. People deserve to profit from their own innovation and hard work, but that is greed.

Truth be told I am not by any means an advanced chemist.

More likely a piss poor one, I am very interested in the subject and a hobbyist definately, but my primary areas of knowledge are neurochemistry, psychopharmacology, botany and I have studied mycology since I was around 4-5 years old.

What I lack in knowledge I certainly do not in terms of creativity and resourcefulness. Turning shit to sugar, so to speak.
