Anybody come accross this before? just obtained a 250mg sample.

This is the N-methyl homolog of fencamfamine, which is meant to be a really smoothe stimulant, bearing some opioid activity also.
Fencamfamine itself is typically, according to wikipedia, given in 10-60mg doses, approximately half the potency of d-amphetamine.

Opioid effects can show themselves at lower doses, causing a paradoxical sedation, so I am led to believe.

Anybody care to weigh in on this substance? I shall assume that lower doses than that for fencamfamine will be required, I.E slightly more potent, going from the fact that N-ethylamphetamine is a bit more potent than amphetamine but less so than meth.

According to that, fencamfamine doesn't inhibit the dopamine reuptake o.O

And according to that, it'll act on dopamine and opioid receptors (Naloxone block the effects)

Well results are back:

VERY smooth stimulant, not hugely potent by weight, 40mg nasally produced a feeling of wakefulness and a pleasant mood, no anorexia whatsoever, although at the same time, no sensation of hunger was present, despite not having eaten much. A large charcoal-pit type double cheeseburger was eaten, which took no effort, but after that, my appetite was sated.

Nasal use burned a lot, very painful on insufflation, and it left me feeling like the inside of my nose had had its epithelial tissue peeled off and tossed away....intense burn, left me with a bastard of a headache after that....the current distribution form provided by the vendor is reported to have a few percent of a synthesis impurity and the vendor apparently sent the batch back to the lab. This could be responsible, rather than an inherent property of the drug. Rectal use, on the two times it was done from the 250mg sample aquired, produced no such sinusitis-like headache.

A dose of 100mg (105mg actually, due to initial 40mg taken from the 250mg total, and two subsequent 105mg rectal doses in aq. solution) rectally was about right, not intense, but a sort of amphetamine-like speedy high (i.e euphoric, upbeat, very wakeful, elevation of heart rate, but not by very much, unlike amphetamine)

Zero peripheral stimulation, no perceptible subjectively felt increase in heart rate from 40mg insufflated to 105mg rectally.

Neither I nor toady will be assaying it for susceptibility to naloxone blockade of effects....opioid dependence precludes that, and the result would be ugly as hell, regardless of its effects on the drugs profile...not a fucking chance!

Never tried nomifensine to compare with...but this stuff is very nice indeed....Tsathoggua approves also and thinks that he needs to search for the appropriate nitro-norbornane
