I am a traditional health care practitioner working mainly with iboga; I was wondering if there would be an interest in how this plant works as a medicine as well as its effects on a psycho-therapeutic level.

There is no other natural drug that can do what this can. Not only can it get you through opiate withdrawal painlessly but manages to target trauma so that you can understand it in a subjective manner then release the repressed energy. Its also good in treating other forms of addiction to: Cocaine; methamphetamine; booze; eating disorder etc.

Iboga creates a waking REM state which allows you to access your subconscious in a way no other entheogen can.

I am doing research on low dose protocols of the actual root bark over an extended period of time; as well as collecting general information on iboga.

I also do my own alkaloid extraction which may also be of interest.

There are many topics for discussion in terms of the multiple levels of action this drug has. One being to regrow dopamine neurons; reset the glutimate or reward pathway and lower levels of viral infection such as with Hepatitis C.

I can expand on areas of interest.

I grow other medicinal plants which is what attracted me to the site.

Hi there i have a lot of interest in this substance and have tried a small dose of the root bark 10g made in to a tea (boiled in water with a dash of lemon juice).Even at this smaller dose it proved to be unique and different in its effects it took me to (in my minds eye in the dark) moments in my upbringing that altered my brian wiring. Revisiting these and feeling what the child felt with a adults mind seemed to exorsise the demons and free me from the negative conseqences of the past experience.

Will be doing this again guided at higher dose with people experienced in using this for personal growth.want to get my life more stable before this though.

Demethylation of IBOGAINE using 48% hbr yeilds NORIBOGAINE according to patent.This appears to be responsible for some of the feelings of release and exceptance felt after the experience as this is a major metabolite.
