Sneak-and Peek

There's an interesting chart in New York Magazine that shows what the Patriot Act is used for.
Delayed-notice search warrants issued under the expanded powers of the Patriot Act, 2006–2009:

For drugs: 1,618
For fraud: 122
For Terrorism: 15

Kind of interesting, I guess...

I did at one point, just don't remember much from it, or care too much to watch it all again - what point(s) are you referring to in the movie?

That movie is a prime example of the need to balance information in order to both disseminate said information and maintain some sort of integrity/believability. That movie is almost to the status of coming with a tinfoil hat when you download it. Not that it's all bullshit, but it has such a reputation at this point that the info people really need to hear is largely unheard, Vesp being a great example of this.

I knew about sneak n peek a loooong ago, because I read the fucking patriot act. Too bad that considering the audience these guys have with their films they've fucked their credibility to stigmatize anyone who watches them into being a foil hatter, at least in the eyes of more balanced observers.

I'm not surprised that you don't remember it or want to watch again, Vesp. I can't say I blame you.

I was mostly interested in the ratio of what was looked into  - hardly any terrorist stuff, while that was the main story for it.

I knew about it before, just the ratio was neat.

"the ratio was neat"...I'm not sure what you mean, by saying" neat"..in what respect are you using it, English being a most ambiguous language..!)

Well my primary point is that the First movie discusses in Great detail "How this current System we live in came to BE".....and the plans some people have for expansion of both their Own power, and Control of what you/me/them DO.

Gee they've done plenty to help the home chemist :'(

Bye Bye your "Freedom"

There IS second part of Zeitgeist, also, so depending on which one you saw/cant recall...I cant really answer your Q except to say.....the one that statrs with the Buddhist Monk talking with only a black background is the first--lots o terrorist stuff--false flag ops, you name it....its called "The Final Solution"

Maybe you saw the one with all the Proffesors etc which is called "Moving Forward".......
however I must say, no doubt 'some. if not Most people' will find it too "intellectual"---mainly because of the wonderful education system you have over there+its World Class Everthing (tis hard to write a sarcastic comment :P

Ignore what the World Government has "Waiting in the wings", for All of Us,, or continue to believe the BULLSHIT the US Government, and its allies KEEP TELLING You, together with Capitalism's Invisible Agency?,,  aka,, CIA,  has in store for you.......

Do you TRULY believe the bullshit we are being 'fed' on a daily basis via the media?

" Under the Patriot Act,, you aint got NO RIGHTS"

In many ways its like a chemical reaction,,But,,Using People as the feedstock AND manipulating them into the Required product

If you didnt see the one (called The Final Solution) explaining about, for one thing, about how the Federal Reserve Bank, and how your IRS is ILLEGAL,,then thats what I'm talking about

reDEEMed...you're dissin a lot of Highly Successful and Intelligent "free thinkers"

when you make that statement---Not worth watchin...Opinion,Nothing More ::)

How do YOU "define" a more balanced observer???

And "how much do you 'care' what someone thinks of you BECAUSE you "watched a movie"...Unless you tell them "How would they know?" maybe the foil hat?
I suppose you believe a Jumbo Jet crashes into the White House and "disappeared" also? And building 7 of the WTC just "happened to fall down, all 45+floors EVEN THOUGH it wasnt "hit by a plane?"

Hmmmmm

Nah, that's not what I meant. I just mean that so much of this ridiculous shit that our government is engaged in can pretty much be universally agreed upon that the system is broken and corrupted and oppressive and any other negative adjective you can think of. It's just that most people ignore it, for whatever reason. Like an ostrich or some shit they just pretend that it aint so and already wanna believe that things aren't really the way they are. No matter how accurate the stuff on zietgeist is, many people wont ever hear it because over all the message is just too much to take it. I'm not saying that it's bullshit or any of that. I'm just saying that the delivery could be softer. I believe it would be received better. When I say a balanced observer I mean someone who takes everything into account, not just the facts. I know that sounds fucked and I'm really struggling to find the right words to explain what I mean, but I will keep thinking on it and see if I can come up with a better way to explain it, or even an analogy.

They know it's happening, everyone knows it's happening. I think it's more likely that as long people aren't personally affected they can find the strength and justification to suppress and ignore things that are broken because it's not their problem.  For instance, my parents are total sheep. My mom aint so bad, but my dad, he's got no fucking original thought in his head, not a single one. All patriotic and shit and it makes me sick. However, maybe that would change if the feds did something like we're talking about to me or them. I'm sure he would say he knew that shit took place beforehand but believed it was only done in cases where it was needed or necessary.

It's whatever to me, I don't see how anyone could trust any part of this government. My dad is a fool. In all fairness he's my step dad (the one I'm talking about). But, my real dad aint no better lol. Hell. maybe I'm a fool too. But atleast I'm actively trying to change that.
