When people show their true colours by refusing to comply with even the most basic canons of journalistic ethics (Reporters without Borders temporarily Suspends its Wikileaks Mirror, there is a major fucking problem. When former staffers write this "Why I had to leave Wikileaks", and the editor of the Guardian writes something like this "Julian Assange and WikiLeaks: No case, no need" it is pretty frigging clear that this narcissistic fop cares considerably less about helping people than he does about Julian Assange and his 'celebrity' status. This nicest thing one could say about the cunt is that he's a cross between Paris Hilton and Martin Bryant, he honestly doesn't give a flying fuck who pays what price as long as he's in the spotlight.

As to the release of information, that is one thing - provided basic common sense is utilized and good people are not needlessly endangered by the release of information, I have no issue with it. But to knowingly and recklessly release the names of people who've taken part in, organised and or otherwise participated in "anti-regime" activities in such places as Pakistan, North Korea, Syria, Turkey, China, etc.? Who benefits from that, except some of the most brutal regimes on earth?

Can anyone prove a single death came from releasing these cables? Nope, shit the only news we get out of some of these places is from mobile phone video ffs, how the fuck could anyone prove why some of these people were tortured, killed or disappeared? Did Assange knowingly get hold of material he knew could cause serious harm to specific people? Did he ensure that material, which had previously been protected, remained protected once it was in his grasp? Or did he act recklessly with callous disregard for the potential harm that could be caused?

If ASIO/CIA/MI5 have any sense they'll carefully and quite deliberately send the fucker bonkers and put him in a mental institution, that would not only remove the potential for him to be a martyr, but would also be funny as fuck.

Your information is off, he gave every chance for the documents to be reviewed and sensitive names removed but the government refused to cooperate with him so the material got released as is by side sources that where entrusted with copys of the material. Your buying into the propaganda of the people hes exposing nothing more to it. Also the rape charges are bunk and where thrown out of court when they where brought up prior to the wiki leaks case only to have them unlawfully brought back up in an attempt to limit his movement around the world. Don't buy into the media bullshit your hearing No1uno because those are the same fuckers hes exposing in the first place.
