Hey fellas, I'm no photoshop guru or anything but I kinda dink around with web design and I notice the logo kinda chops on the SMF default header block.

I install, configure and admin SMF & VB forums all over the place so I'm familiar with the PITA of matching SMF's header with a logo.

Wouldya like me to try to clean it up and give it a fade to the right so it mists into nothingness on that side / mixes with the header?

I don't care too much about looks, but I mean if you want to do it feel free to do so!
Also if you want to touch up on any part of it - like the wasp, etc let me know.

Here are two other images that are a bit bigger or just modified for possibly being more interesting or something.

Also I guess if others want to dink around on making a new one, go for it. I'd be happy to put up a better looking one or changing it out every now and than....

Right on!  :)

So far I've just been playing with contones & fades but I'll have to bust out the bigger guns and try to get the imagery on a transparent layer and then put it on the header block.

Any chance you have the images on transparency?

Cool, I'll play with those images and see if I can get them to play nicely together. ;)

Nope i don't think so... ha I'm not a graphical person at all. yeah just do whatever you want or can do.

I forget if I can use a .png or not on the logo for SMF... prob requires a gif or jpg.... I'm working on the fade but this is what I've got so far

I put yours up for a bit of trouble shooting - it doesn't fit quite right, etc

I do believe any image/picture format will work without much problem at all


It is now displaying the attachment on this post which has a URL of http://127.0.0.1/talk/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=2715.0;attach=4748;image and the normal URL is; http://127.0.0.1/wasplogo.jpeg

And this is what it looks like on my FF with Ubuntu as system.

Hey no problemo, but I'll try to get it to fit better. That is annoying... grrr...

Edit: Reduced height by 5px, should trim it into place in terms of the bottom. Have to figure out the CSS for the sides of the header...
