Translation: the "defect" of oxycodone is its inability to inflict misery on the user. We need to take it off the market, and replace it with drugs more likely to cause vomiting, seizures, and liver failure.

How did this paper make it into Nature? There is nothing novel here and the whole thing is a giant turd. Wooeee, big surprise, partial agonists aren't as fun as heroin!
