Score one for Wiki, this is a major event for Godaddy as i'm sure Wiki makes up a large percentage of there business.

Also I think several thousand other people have left them as well and has made other things they've done come under more scrutiny.

Godaddy sucks fat hog cock.

I migrate every single client away from them whenever possible.

Also, I'm on pretty intimate terms with bluehost and get my customers a break for referrals, especially from godaddy.... Evidently something like 90% of their calls are migrations from there.....

But yaknowhat? Fuck all US based providers. I'm going to crack into the russian or bulgarian hosting areas... Fuck US legal reciprocity.  8)

Anyway, yeah, fuck GD. Their interface sucks and their customer service staff are fucking morons AND they drop their pants at the most whimsical behest of Big Bro and sell you out completely. Did I mention they close more paid for domains than any other hosting outlet in the world for completely unsubstantiated accusations against said domains? No inquiry, no trial, nada. Gone, bye bye....

Besides, they aren't really a 'hosting' company. They are primarily domain pimps. That's what they do and that's what they're geared for. Customer service there is a joke.

Yeah but the damage they've caused it already done.

I seriously do not understand why anyone uses Godaddy... its not cheaper than many other places, and AFAIK they do not offer much more of anything? Might as well just go with something else...

1&1 domains is pretty cheap for registration?

Why did it take them so long to figure out the obvious?

It's like having to decorate sites for f*ing ie6 (an awesome amount of people still use that prick - begs the same question really)
