There is an interesting article on the VICE website with a clandestine phenethylamine chemist. Looks like one of the former bee's.

BTW, whats that in the first, large picture? Looks like a nice nitroalkene solution and some activated amalgam, but thats only an assumption  ::)

Yeah, I love the perfume reference! Possibly a MDP2P solution disolved in MeOH being added to an activated Al/Hg. I think a lot of bee's here will be able to relate to this guy

That's a fantastic article. Vice Magazine really ranks among the best.
