Started with 500 morning glory seeds. Crushed, put into anhydrous acetone. Did three pulls.

Take acetone, evap. Scrap up lsa goo.

Put goo into distilled water and lemon juice (no citric acid). Filtered, then added naphtha. Removed naphtha, did three pulls, threw it away.

distilled water/LSA citrate mixed with 1ml of ammonia, used xylol (xylenes) to remove freebase alkalines. Wouldnt separate. Added more ammonia, around 5-15ml. after some emulsions, I finally get two layers, the top looking like it has white crystals floating in the xylol. I extract, do multiple pulls, and set aside to evap.

Xylol wouldn't evap, took two days, finally I added more lemon juice to lower ph and drop the LSA from the xylol. I removed  xylol with 10ml syringe, still some left. Put to evap the little xylol left. A day left, no xylol smell, but it smells weird, some sort of liquid, greenish yellow, with no white crystals, but some sort of 'sut' floating in it. I don't know what to do, or what I did wrong. I tried adding more Lemon juice, then throwing in cream of tartar to get it stabilized.

What did I do wrong? I wish I had the right supplies so I could do it properly. But I don't, I can't even find toluene. No stores have it.

" i am pretty sure DCM is the only viable nonpolar solvent for this case. lysergamides are not very soluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons (naptha, heptane), aromatic hydrocarbons (toluene, xylene) or even ether. DCM is a terrific one and if you can find it pure, i say it's a worthwhile investment."

If you're in the states you can find it in a hardware store. Of this I am certain. Try the paint isles.

It goes by the name methylene chloride on the back of most strippers. Try lowes again, almost always has itt as far as I've seen. They also carry this particular product at auto shops. Try Pep Boys if you're really out of luck.
