Here is an article describing the use of NaOH + waste aluminium to produce hydrogen. Interestingly, hydrogen production peaks at 10MPa (or 100 x 100kPa/Bar). Useful to know, will take some thought on how to produce & store it properly, but 100bar of hydrogen is previously unobtanium.
