I will pay in the next days for this vacuum pump.
Can you share with us what you know about it?
If you know something about manufacturing date, and recommendations before I turn it on , You are welcome.
And if not just show you this museum piece.

Nice. Looks very vintage. Would love to have that on the shelf. :)
If you really want to enjoy a pure, clean product the only way... is to make it yourself...

Yeah!
The Vintage machine is incredible. after researching a little looks like it was made in the 1900 around. The next model (rotary vacuum pump) had been dated in the 20 - 30´s years. So it´s incredible this machine still running.

And it works like a Plunger, the motor moves the piston through a rubber transmission, and a DIY rubber membrane make vacuum like plunger.
It got two holes, from the small one it aspire the air and the big is for grounding ( sparks). And two potentiometers, one for step by step run engine and the other for Vent vacuum.
More or less is what you see in the picture.
I will take some pictures if any one want´s to make him DIY vacuum pump.

I must say i had need two days to turn on it  :o,

Sorry but english is not my native language to explain more details. I hope you can understand what i mean.

Damn.....thats nice. Even if it wouldn't pull the vacuum needed to rig up a cyclotron in the shed, or start distilling (most) metals.....looks nice as hell.

I'd definitely have grabbed something like that, if ever I see it going. Although a couple of sparking tesla coils in the background, and an assistant with a thunny acthent and loth of scarth and foreign bodyparth is essential IMO, going for that look.
