Cup of sugar, 2 eggs, teaspoon of baking soda, etc. And the next guy chimes in and picks right up!!! No, if you mix the salt with water and heat up first, then add the flour, it will make it rise better..... Geez, just amazes me. Any how, i am very interested in the lopermide conversion. I already looked up getting the propionic anihydrate and it appears to be something i can obtain with little or no difficulty. Other than that i am at a loss. I have been trying with the old black pepper, GF juice, tonic water, and tagamet with little success. I don't consider myself stupid by anymeans and i strive for perfection and usually always succeed in just about every task i take on. So PLEASE, if anyone could help me, please pm me or email me. I keep reading and for 3 months now im just able to piece little things together. Is what i need is someone to help me, maybe in terms i can understand a little easier, to complete this little project. Thank you.

Maybe it's not my place to say this as a "fellow" new person to this forum, but anyone who does not care enough to pick up a book and read, or, to dig deeper on the internet (which is even easier), or to actually apply knowledge and experiment with it, doesn't deserve the gift of pure crystals. And the oldies (who could help you more than anyone) defend that more than anyone will. This is why you don't see any half-wit on the street "baking" a batch of the finest mind-altering substances. We're not growing marijuana here. This is legitimate discourse on the application of chemical knowledge in synthesizing organic compounds. Even in a gen chem lab, where you are typically given cookbook methods (unless the professor is intelligent), you can still massively screw things up/destroy your own or someone else's life. Please do more reading and, this should go without saying but, tread with caution.
