I am thinking about getting a new forum theme, or layout. I think this default one is a little boring and perhaps isn't the best. If you feel like it, you could help choose what the forum looks like by telling me your favorite themes. Here is a link, http://www.smfthemes.org/index.php?theme=40, that has a list at the top linking to different themes.

It will probably be best to keep it simple, easy to look at and navigate.

This theme is kind of hard to navigate, the subforms don't change the new post indication on the front page if a post is added to them, the blue is kind of wacky compared to everything else. I much prefer the shroomerys setup where you can login on the front page by hovering over login without redirecting.

Well this forum uses the Simple Machines forum software and I can only use the themes that fit - so if you can find a better one via the links I have posted let me know, otherwise I can't do much about it.

As for the subforums, they turn a darker blue when they have unread posts.

The front forum icon doesn't change color at all for my whenever a post is made in the sub-forum.

Is pretty neat. I'm just not a big fan of SMF it's a bit odd.
