Logging In and Editing

Is anyone else having to login twice? After the first I don't get any kind of an error message, the system just returns to the login screen and waits until I do it again, then it lets me in. This has been going on for about two weeks or so.

The other thing I wanted to mention is that I don't get the "modify" button on my own posts, even right after I post them, so there's no way for me to edit them. It's almost as though the feature was turned off. (I'll post this and the button will probably be there, of course.)

BTW, I'm using Firefox V3.0.15 on Winxp Pro.

There's one other strange thing is happening, and it's not a problem. I'll mention it in case it's useful information. When I post a message in a forum, it takes a long time to show up--in the forum. I shows right away if I look at replies to my posts (I believe that's the place that shows recent posts).  When I posted the first message in this thread yesterday, I hung around for about another hour, reading this and that. Before I logged out I came back here and the post still didn't show up.
