Mono tub via llamabox

2 qts of popcorn innoculated with Z strain Psilocybe cubensis spores.

When they are 100% colonized I crumble them into a tub with 10pounds or 3 inches of poo.

Put the tub in the dark and wait till the poo is 100% colonized.

Then I nuke some coir and vermiculite in the microwave for 2 runs of 3 minutes each. And sprinkle 1/4-1/2 inch of this onto the white colonized poo.

Cover again and place back into the dark for 2-5 more days till you see some white "hairs" poking up through the coir.

When you see an even amount of white showing LIGHTLY through the coir replace the lid with one that is clear and drill holes in the tub for air exchange. If you don't want to make holes in your tub you will need to fan the inside of the tub 4-6 times a day. Make sure the coir does not dry out, and spray lightly if needed.

5-7days later you will see your first baby pins growing....

Quite a good pinset there, llamabox.  By the way people, when he says "poo", he doesn't mean fresh steaming shit.  When using manure, horse is by far the best.  Pick up the stuff that doesn't smell bad.  The poo you use, should just smell like very rich dirt, lest you want your house smelling like ass.

Right. I collect field manure from my mothers farm in a mesh sack like potatoes come in. I then rinse it repeatedly in a 5 gallon bucket while still in the bag. Use the brown water to fertilize my plants and set the manure out in the sun to dry.

Does the fertilizer poo they sell in stores for plants work?

I have no clue but if I were to guess I'd say it probably would not work, because why else would people bother gathering the stuff?  Maybe if you are lucky it will be an easy alternative...

So you are saying that a aged lump of shit makes good shroom growing thing? Hmmm I may just do a 'shitty' cultivation soon... I envision customers stating my shrooms 'taste like ass' and me replying ''so... How do YOU know what ass tastes like..." LOL.

On a more serious note, should I microwave my shit before spores are added?

The store bought manure will not do on it's own it need amending. If you hydrate it you will get mud. You need to mix it with straw or vermiculite to give it some texture. Folks have also used worm casings.
