Possession of toluene isn't illegal. Distilling toluene isn't illegal. This goes back to the lack of foresight to have enough dH2O on hand

you are telling me that unexpected things dont arise where you might use more than expected? man you know nothing about me, i am not a chemist but i am not a meth cook u f**k head. I have put in an unbelievable amount of effort and learning to get to where i am today.

Now suppose that toluene is a reactant, not a solvent. Would you nitrate dirty toluene in a makeshift lab on a very tight schedule? Now suppose during that nitration you ran out of ice because you forgot to buy enough beforehand. See where I'm going with this?

Again im not a meth cook i dont see where you are going with this i think i deserve a bit more credit than you are giving me. If i am going to do nitrations i would put in all the effort required to do it right. i dont run multiple synths, chemstry is fun but if i was synthing up fresh air i would not be doing it.

I have learned alot about one synth, i know the reaction mechanisms, i know alot of variations, and have a basic understanding of chemistry, through alot of self teachng, which shows a bit more passion than being a student and learning it because it is your class and you have to. i have done countless vacuum distillations and distillations of solvents of all types. All my equipment was made myself, as i am a tradesman working as a 'design engineer' but that has come to be my position. A hotplate stirrer is a watched thing in australia. There isnt even one on ebay. not that i would shop on ebay for one but in other countrys hotplate stirrers are everywhere

Not only that. for a tradesman, why do i want a beaker? what the fuck is a rough looking tradesman going to use a beaker for? or a mag stirrer hotplate baught from a lab supply place. i look like i should be at the pub not a lab supply place. thats why it is why i have taken this path, because i know i am capable of alot more than what i am getting out of my mind numbing trade.

Id appreciate it if you dont lower me to a caravan meth cook when you know f**k all about me or my situation

The tight schedule thing comes from having a job and having a life to live.

as far as the tap water goes, i have spoken to about 4 people around here now who says it wont make a huge difference, they have done it before.

sure ill go pick up some more dh20 for now. but my question was not "hey when im boiling my meth on the stove and my shoe fell in it and had dog shit on it then how can i still eat the meth but not the dog shit"

it was "hey i had to use dh20 in my final washes it this ok?"

go f**k yourself pick on someone else

Howdy....Shake you've appeared fairly recently,,I've  liked you're style and posts/contribution,to "The Discussion" being held....I reckon, what you are saying makes TOTAL sense to me....especially if you had Already done  1 or 1.5 washes in dH2O,,but if you only had to add 14 ml,,its really in what % 14 ml was ,, and a lot of our water is surprisingly clean, depending on your area, and which dams feed you,,but with all the rain recently,,tap water.....hmmmm,,there's few places with water as clean as ours--Ijust cant recall which states fluoridate their water supplies, but I've lived in places where the rainwater we got was magic....anyway as I siad ,,maybe it wasnt 'perfect,,but how did it come out "in the wash'so to speak' ;D

Psychoexplorer, I think you are being way too harsh about "someone running out of "Something"..I appreciate your attention to detail,,and wish I had it myself more often! :-[ iI often enjoy your posts 8)
Many,if not most of us are "/bathroom/bedroom/back shed, "explorers", NOT to my knowledge, a bunch of Scientists with backyard labs+supplies+permissions,, like some may,,for one "reason or another?".....OR,,for that matter,,"profit based "pro-c(r)ooks" after a fast buck, hence the need for 'discretion' within the site, for its own safety

We ALL "live and learn" and drone admitted he could have done better but he's got a lot of things to do,and its EASY for the inspired chemist to run out of  basic ingredients at inconvenient times!!  And some people are night owls and prefer to cook in the calm of the night--and oz tap water can be pretty damn clean, depending where you are...esp if its rainwater
I like your posts bro,, I can see you have been "hard at work, learning much"

Keep yer chin up, coz you're doing a good thing for our country IMHO

and may you find a solution to your "solution" ;D 8)

  Peace love and mung beans,,
