Problems with the forum?

Anyone notice anything lately? I have not, I've been checking it like I normally do, etc and nothing however sedit has said has had some problems... have others? Please let me know!

Some personal messages were sent but never replied to about various problems including the ones that Sedit mentioned  ;)  The problems as far as posts not being able to be edited for many hours after they're entered and personal messages not being able to be read when there's a notification on the page continue  ::)

Thanks, I wish I knew what was causing these problems. Any ideas? I can't imagine why I wouldn't have these problems.. while others do...

It makes it hard to figure it out when I can't experience it myself.

I have seen alot of problems lately from threads vanishing that I started to PMs being stuck as unread. The unread post has showed the same thing for over a week now for me and things are just acting goofy. The picture in the upper right hand corner does not display either but that has been that way for sometime now. Have any alterations been made within the last week or two?


Funny because now the missing post is where it should be in the moderators lounge. hmmm man IDK. Goofy is the only word that comes to mind.

No changes at all since I'm a strong believer in don't fix it unless its broken  :P
what picture in the upper right hand corner are you talking about? You mean left hand?

Hmm perhaps we are using a different theme? Maybe send me some screen shots at some point?

i was writing a long pm yesterday and i couldnt "see" what i was writing--once this box was 'filled' it kept scrolling back to the start of the mssg after each key stroke--and i cant edit ANYTHING anytime??? yep weird or at least different to how it has been.... :-\

We have always had a short time period for editing but there is alot of funky stuff going on. The active topics at the bottom were set to what they where over a week ago when I got here. Clicking on a few things updated it. There is something fucked up in the updater for the forum whatever that maybe screweing with active topics and unread ones + PMs ect...

We had to lock WD Reloadded to one theme to prevent certain security problems, and the Vespiary is running the same software so the same issues are probably responsible for some of the problems   ;)  The fact that pm's aren't working should concern the forum administration, what's going on is either software corruption or something more sinister involving the host  :(  WD can provide assistance in solving these problems if it's desired  8)

I've now got it so everyone is using the same theme as I originally thought they were... if the look of the forum changed on you please let me know. Hopefully this fixes or makes something more secure.
