Things Required:
2 nice big Pots
Some Cactus
A potato Smasher or a glass vase or anything that is flat bottomed.
A Strainer
Some Window Screen
Some Water
And a nice sharp kicthen knife and cutting board.
Step 1: get you some cacti. This can be San Pedro , Torch or my personal favorite Bridgesii. They can be obtained from bouncingbearbotanicals, KT botanicals or any of a number of other sources. I use bridgesii as I find it to be the most potent of all the trich cacti with all things being equal. I know that there are those that will argue that they perfer pedro or torch but, alas This is my preference and I to indeed like the bridgesii and BBB sells a good product.
Step 2: Preparing the cactus for the Tea
I Slice my cactus into half inch slices then dice each slice into the smallest pieces I can.
Step 3: Now place your diced cactus into a nice big pot that will hold the material and the water required.
Step 4: Cover your cactus material with enough water to completly cover the cacti about a inch over . Now you will want to keep the orginal water level the same thoughout the teaing process.
Step 5 Boiling (making the Tea): Turn your stove on High and allow to boil hard for one hour. After one hour you then use the potato smasher and mash the cactus material up real good. Give it 15 or so good hard presses. This works better if you take the pot off the stove and set it on a table for this. As you can damage the heating element on the stove trying this on the stove.
Also if you don't have a potato smasher anything with a flat bottom that is clean will work. Such as, a tall soup can or like a vase. Just remember to make sure it is clean.
After you have smashed it then set back onto stove and turn stove down to med to med hi. Then repeat the smashing process every have hour or so. Remember to maintain your original water level. You will do the smashing process appoximently 4 times. Meaning you will boil for another 2 to 3 hours.
Step 6 Straining: This is a very simple process. Just place your window screen into the strainer PLace that strainer into the second pot and dump material into strainer. Now you will need to press out all the remaing liquid out of the cacti flesh.
Repeat Steps 3 - 6 3 times with the same flesh. Then discard that flesh. It should look bleached almost a whiteish green and you liquid in the second pot should be dark green.
Step 7 Reducing: This is the most important process as this will consentrate the akaliods and make this tea very very potent. Reduce down to one pint for one dose or 2 pints for 2 doses.
After this allow the tea to cool to drinking temp and bingo down that shit and off to the land of mescline ye shall go. Thats a promise. If you use this method I can promise you a mind blowing experience and very little nausea if any at all.
