Time Delay
« on: March 08, 2010, 07:56:19 AM »
Some weird stuff was going on. I tried posting in certain forum section and it said I posted but it never showed up. So I logged out, cleared cookies, came back and my post still wasn't there. So I tried posting it again and again. Nothing was being posted. I then posted in a more popular section and it posted fine. So I tried the original section again and nothing, so I tried making a whole new thread in that section and still nothing. So I leave, come back, still nothing. Then I leave and 30 min later I come back to all my duplicate posts having finally posted which make me look crazy. Is the section in question now on a 30 min delay or something?

Geez I don't know if it's my new computer, new operating system, new browser, or new connection but this shit is so annoying. Still happening. Hopefully time will make it go away.

Well, I didn't change any settings and haven't for a long time -- so either its just something we will never understand, or it could be all those variables (i.e your comp, browser, etc etc)...

Hell if I know, but I'll look into the error logs, etc and see if anything is up...

Don't worry about it, it's probably just one of those new things of mine (I have to log in like 4 times too before it sticks). I'm thinking it's my connection because I can't use RapidShare now either (always say IP check doesn't match or something).

All right, but if you have an idea what might be causing problems, let me know.
