Ive got a few boxes of 60mg pseudoephedrines,i got them from somewhere 2 boxes at a time and theres 2 active ingredents which are....
Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 60 mgs
Chlorpheniramine maleate 4 mgs .......it says its a Antihistamine
and theres only 2 inactive ingrediants which are
magnesium stearate and microcrystalline cellulose
people say to look 4 the pills with the least active ingrediants and this has only 2 as opposed to the others that usualy have at least 6.
am i missing something here or have i found some old school good ass pills?
PLEASE RESPOND im just starting out and i need advise of some smart dudes before i waste any more money on these white 60s

These were always SWIM's favorite to deal with. They are still common where pfed pills are still sold. White 60's usually have one other active. Not all of the inactives are listed. SWIM found generic pills that were easy, but a good extraction should be followed to be safe. There are several easy ones available. |

i think its possible that all the inactives aren't listed.
sounds somewhat paranoid to suspect such a thing, but these are strange times we live in. |

These used to contain two inactives. They now contain some ingredients in the medicine's "delivery system" that do not necessarily get listed as inactives, but they are there. The name brand pills have a polymer which will not dry when extracted with alcohol, and the generics have methacrylate polymers. Fester's KOH approached worked with these. The method posted by WhoMe at Wetdreams which involves boiling the pill mass in an aqueous mix of salt, acetic acid and citric acid, filtering, then basing slowly to elute the amine into VM&P naptha works well. The method posted at Wetdreams by Dwarfer will also work well. |

Equates are what switc uses daily, they are loaded with methacryllate polymers as well as Orange-I and Orange-II gaaks. Beware, simple extraction will not work for these, WhoMe's extraction is fool-proof and switc aquires 80% yields with the method and it is completely OTC. She used to be the spokesperson for the KOH boil, but this new method blows it out of the water. |
