swim is a little confused with the diffirent platinum catalysts for hydrogenations
swim is wondering the diffirence between platinum dioxide and platinum black? and their activity level and interchangeability. swip curently has his ammonium chloroplatinic acid and was planing going to fuse it with a nitrate to PtO2 and pre reduce with H2 (wich turns it black, does'nt it?), but swim's friend told swim that Pt black has a super higher activity level and is eaisier prepared with NaBH4. thanks for the help the MeAm sol. is realy starting to stink.
