...........a commercial use for brine? ..................
Primarily used for regenerating ion exchange resin and myriad others. The salt, NaCL or KCl sold cheap were water softeners are sold
.............Can I make my own out ................
Sure, if you can dump salt into water! Depending on your end use just weighing it may be enough. For saturated brine add a little more than the calculated amount and let sit for several hours stirring occasionally making sure there is some undissolved. Then decant into a filter. |

How To Make Brine:
1. Get your <NaCL> .... hence sodium chloride, which is also the exact SAME thing as table salt (non - iodized) in your left hand.
2. Get your DH20 which is Distilled Water it's like 58 cents for a gallon in your right hand.
3. Pour a WHOLE BUNCH of the salt thats in your left hand into into the water jug thats in your right hand until the salt stops disolving in the water, This means you will have just a few salt xtals on the bottom.
4. Let the jug sit for 1 hour, stiring every 10 minutes.
5. Pour your fluid (Brine is what you made) through a coffe filter now.
6 Use "Brine" accordingly. |
