Asarone and the addition of h-br

Altough Asarone seems very sensitive to acids would the addition of H-Br cause any problems?

Yes it will polymerize instantly.
Also to obtain 2,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl-2-bromopropane you would need to add HBr to gamma-asarone (the allylbenzene). Asarone is a propenylbenzene.
Best options for asarone are IMO the pseudonitrosite or oxidation to the benzaldehyde w basic KMnO4 and Henry condensation with nitroethane etc.
