pardon my lack of knowledge.

can one sustain safrole for an extended period of time?

does it go bad?

such as extracting a small amount of oil over long periods of time and continously add to eventially have a larger amount.. or does safrole break down in structure after a while?

sassy oil will last for ages, purified safrole should be fine as long as you store it cool, dry, dark. In sassy oil (as with most plant oils) there are natural anti-oxidants, when you purify the safrole you remove these anti-oxidants...

It doesnt break down but its suseptible to many radicals due to the unsaturation, just keep it in a dark cupboard, out of the light, keep the bottle well sealed and cool...
