sassy oil will last for ages, purified safrole should be fine as long as you store it cool, dry, dark. In sassy oil (as with most plant oils) there are natural anti-oxidants, when you purify the safrole you remove these anti-oxidants...
It doesnt break down but its suseptible to many radicals due to the unsaturation, just keep it in a dark cupboard, out of the light, keep the bottle well sealed and cool...
