can swit tell swim what the fuck methyl orange is? swim got hold of a shit load of lab grade chems( ), but some of it is far beyond swims knowledge, cheers |

its an indicator for pH. But also a stain apparently hmm cool, never underestimate the power of google.
"Orange-yellow powder used as an acid–base indicator in chemical tests, and as a stain in the preparation of slides of biological material. Its colour changes with pH; below pH 3.1 it is red, above pH 4.4 it is yellow."
