has anybody ever taken note of the fact that amines are catalyst poisons? hooray.

I thought it was the sulfur that caused poisoning of catalysts , specifically Pd....which can be avoided by treating solution to be hyderogenated with raney nickle ..........so is that what the thread is about ?....why does it make you happy........?......where do you reference your "fact's" or is it a factoid you've discovered and want to share with the forum? what was your research on when you discovered this.......how did you test for your conclusions .....or is it something you just think happens? ...................java

i found that "factoid" on several web pages concerning catalytic hydrogenation, and it sure doesn't make me happy since it tells me that making amines via this pathway is hindered. just wanted to share it...
