Dimethyl sulphate synth

Does anybody have any idea what reaction conditions are required to make dimethyl sulphate from methanol and concentrated sulphuric acid?

ie quantities and temperature requirements?

US3024263 (prep diethylsulfate) may also work here.

There are plenty of leads once you have this one which is better than using oleum or 98% acid.
