for those who didn't know (and those dealing with urushibara or raney reactions), various Nickel salts have been classified as proven cancerogenic agents, amongst them NiCl2, NiCO3, NiOH2 and so on. so be careful! don't wash your post rxn stuff down the drain, you might hurt yourself, too.
