But good that you posted it here - although the Synthetika version is updateable, I think that the one you linked to is a bit more up-to-date. So it is good to have both versions.

I have a more updated version of the rhodium archive. It seems to be from August, 2004. The Chemistry portion of the archive is 40mb, my total backup of rhodium is about 516mb. Let me know if you want this. I'm sure there is somewhere I can upload it to.

i think you will find it is the same as the one listed above hosted by erowid and that that is also the same as what is hosted by synthetikal, as for the other megs that make up the 500 or so you have , is that the rhodium pdf's ?? or something else..??

I get "403 forbidden" when I try to download it from the Erowid site.

Erowid isn't particularly pleased about that being public knowledge....

Is there any chance that we can make the pdf folder available for download too? I remember Polverone saying (and its also my own impression) that PDFs could be drastically reduced in size, by using simple and available specific compression algorithms..

perhaps soon i or someone else shall make them available.

though at the original 500mb size unless there is some kind of reduction.

i think the best way is to upload them into a hriders.com email acount and then, people who want a copy pm the manager of the account with the address of their free hriders.com account , and then files are then sent , for the "client" to then dl them or just keep a copy online.

I have recently seen a complete mirror of rhodiums archive (12/2004) being shared on Emule, the file size is 234.48 MB.

I'm hoping once downloaded it will include all the djvu files that are missing from the current archive here.

Will anyone who secures this file report back on its content - i.e. whether it is an old archive bundled with some pdfs and djvus or whether it has some of the content missing from the other archives? Hopefully, it will have stuff we can merge.

Nearly got all of this rhodium archive from emule, done a preview and it contains the djvu files.

The archive available via emule is incomplete. I've downloaded the complete Rhodium website last year in september. The pdf's only are around 1,1Gig. (1434 pdf, 35 djvu)

I've been assembling my own cleaned up archive from late 2004 and the only things I have missing are about 10 pdf's and the djvu documents. The orginal archive is a bloody mess, so many orphaned files and bad links, took over a week to sort everything out properly with dreamweaver.
