Your going to have to be 1) cohearent and 2) ask an actual question...
Sounds like just an ester, heating an alcohol and a carboxylic acid with a small volume of conc sulphuric acid produces esters with the release of water. But what do you want to know? im confused....

| From the title of the thread I *suppose* you are going to 'flavour' methedrine Hydrochloride, right?! Well, as mentioned by ApprenticeCook esters do impart a fruity smell (they are used in the food industry in fact), but for the flavour I would suggest using limonene, extracted by steam distillation from the rind of citrus fruits. There are two stereo isomers, one which gives the smell and taste of lemons and the other of oranges. It's not really worth the hassel I think. Hope this helps. I'm new here, nice place btw. It looks really good. |

| Good, clean methedrine HCL , when smoked should taste sweet (like honey) fruity on the other hand is a matter of opinion. If the said methedrine HCL has a fruity smell, methedrine HCL with residual ether vapour in a bag has been known to smell fruity. |

Esters gotten from condensation of reduced ketones smell fruity too, and virtually every methedrine HCL synthesis I know of either uses phenylacetone as a precursor or produces it as a by-product.
Even HI/P ephedrine reductions do....
(P2Pol was used in perfumery in the old daze BTW, for making esters)
