Hi my question goes like this

Here's the spec to the product that I would like to retrieve the folowing chemicals from

Gamma-butyrolactone less than 60 %

Orange Sweet (cas: 8028-48-6 ) less than 1 %

Fattyalchoholethoxylate (cas: 68439-46-3) les than 1 %

Benzylalchool (cas : 100-51-6) over 5 %

The last 3 chemicals are the ones that have to be taken out so that there's only the gamma-butyrolactone left.

I'vebeen told that by heating the solution to 150 degrees celcius would do the trick, but can someone confiir this to me . ..

Thanks in advance for your time and help

P.S. it's very important that the orange smell gets taken out.

I would look up all the chemicals involved then see their physical properties and work with that . Some may be soluble and removed with a wash others will have to be removed by distillation , but if you start like that you will solve the problem without looking for a magic cure. All chemicals follow their specs so start at the beginning and see it through.......java
